Cedar Valley Community Support Services (CVCSS) is a privately owned and operated For-Profit agency. We are an approved and accredited private agency that provides supported community living (SCL) services through the Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and Habilitation Programs. We advocate for our members to ensure that community services, as well as state and federal programs, remain available to them.
CVCSS offers services and support to our members in the manner and in the places that meet their current needs. That is why we offer a variety of assistance programs. Referral can be made through Integrated Health Homes, Regional Social Workers, DHS and Managed Care Case Management, and private/independent sources.
CVCSS provides a viable option in the selection of a community based support system for individuals with intellectual disabilities, mental illnesses, traumatic brain injuries or developmental disabilities. All individuals seeking admission to CVCSS programs will be reviewed under the same pre-admission criteria without regard to race, ethnicity, creed, sex, national origin, religion or sexual orientation. Referrals to CVCSS may be made by individuals through their state or county Department of Human Services offices or community agencies.
Cedar Valley Community Support Services offers assistance to locate independent living arrangements in the community. CVCSS provides services to individuals in their own homes and the community. By tailoring residential options to the individual, CVCSS offers the opportunity to succeed at life’s challenges while offering the protective oversight to minimize life’s risks.
